Three Palestinians and US journalist detained in West Bank
In the occupied West Bank, Palestine, Israeli forces detained three Palestinians and US citizen Naka Hamed, a freelance journalist. Anadolu Agency reports, citing eyewitnesses.
Detentions near Hebron
According to eyewitnesses, three Palestinians were detained on a plot of land belonging to them near the village of Al-Majd, south of Hebron.
Journalist stopped at checkpoint
In another incident, Israeli soldiers stopped a media group at a military checkpoint near Tuqu', south of Bethlehem. They detained Hamed and released the rest of the team.

Hamed lives in Silwad, northeast of Ramallah. She was detained while returning from a reporting assignment in Hebron.
Israeli forces have intensified operations in the occupied West Bank since October 8, 2023, when, in the agency's wording, Israel began a genocidal war in the Gaza Strip. The operations also extend to occupied East Jerusalem. There have been reports of killings, detentions, forced displacement, house demolitions and settlement expansion.
