A Russian drone was spotted flying over Moldova for the second time this morning

On the morning of September 30, another drone flew through Moldovan airspace. This is the second such incident this morning; the drone is believed to be Russian.

 

The drone was detected at 10:26 a.m. near the village of Lunga in the Dubossary District.

“The Air Operations Service continues to monitor the situation in coordination with the relevant authorities and partners,” the Moldovan Ministry of Defense emphasized.

In response, Moldovan authorities have closed the airspace in the northern and central parts of the country, the Ministry of Defense reported.

The authorities promised to provide additional details later.

On the morning of September 30, a drone flew through Moldovan airspace. It subsequently crashed and exploded near the village of Girbovets in the Anenii Noi district.
