The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, has announced the list of the most famous and influential figures in rock music who will be inducted in 2026.

This was reported by The New York Times.

It is noted that the final list of musicians who will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year includes the British band Oasis, English singer Phil Collins, the British rock band Iron Maiden, Anglo-American rock musician Billy Idol, the English rock band New Order, the British band Sade, American soul and R&B singer Luther Vandross, and the American hardcore rap group Wu-Tang Clan.

They will officially be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on November 14 of this year, and the 41st induction ceremony will be broadcast in December on the American television network ABC and the Disney+ streaming platform.

Collins, who was first inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010 as a member of the British band Genesis, will now be honored for his solo work, which includes seven singles that reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart of the 100 most popular songs in the U.S.

It is noted that musicians become eligible for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first recording.

More than 1,000 music historians, industry experts, and artists previously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame vote on the nominees.
