Poland is deporting a Ukrainian national and imposing a 10-year entry ban following an incident in the subway
Polish border guards have decided to deport a Ukrainian citizen and ban him from entering the country for 10 years following an incident in the Warsaw metro. The man in question is 38 years old and was handed over to border guards by the police following an investigation into the incident at the “Centrum” station.
According to RMF24, as reported by “European Truth,” on Monday, July 20, the man threw his backpack onto the subway tracks out of hooliganism and fled. This led to the evacuation of hundreds of people and a prolonged suspension of metro service.
The investigation concluded that the act was of a hooligan nature and was not a premeditated act. Afterward, the police handed the man over to Polish border guards.
According to RMF24, the man is to be transported to the border and handed over to Ukrainian border guards.
