Poland has spoken out against the escalation caused by Zelenskyy's bill on the Pantheon

Poland has described Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s introduction of a bill to establish a National Pantheon as “actions of an escalatory nature.” Kyiv’s decision has sparked a political reaction in Warsaw.

This was stated by the Office of Polish President Karol Nawrocki in H.

“President Zelenskyy announced the submission of a bill on the National Pantheon—this is the next stage of escalatory actions by the Ukrainian authorities following the decision in late May to name one of the military units after the ‘heroes of the UPA,’” the statement reads.

Navrotsky’s Office noted that the Polish president “was right” when he announced that he would strip Zelenskyy of the Order of the White Eagle—and ultimately did so.

“As evidenced by the wave of criticism that the president faced from ruling circles—who now themselves acknowledge the president’s correctness—Karol Navrotsky’s firm defense of Polish interests is the right course of action,” the statement said.
