More than half of Poles believe that Zelenskyy has a negative attitude toward Poland
The results of a new United Surveys poll show that most Poles perceive Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s attitude toward Poland as negative.
According to the survey, 58.3% of respondents believe that Zelenskyy has a negative attitude toward Poland.
In contrast, 30.1% of those surveyed hold the opposite view, while another 11.6% were unable to answer.
Among those who view the Ukrainian president’s attitude negatively: 33.7% described it as “somewhat negative,” and 24.6% as “definitely negative.” Together, this amounts to 58.3% of those surveyed.
Conversely, among those who view him positively: 27.4% consider him “somewhat positive,” and 2.7% consider him “definitely positive.”
The United Surveys poll for Wirtualna Polska was conducted June 12–14, 2026. It included 1,000 respondents from various regions of Poland.
The survey was published by Polsat News.
On June 20, former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko also announced his decision to decline a Polish state order, emphasizing that this move was not directed against the Polish people; at the same time, he also made critical remarks about current President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Earlier, Zelenskyy had sent Navrotsky the Order of the White Eagle via Nova Poshta.
Following this, Leonid Kuchma also declined the Polish Order of the White Eagle.
Ukraine’s third president, Viktor Yushchenko, also declined the Polish Order of the White Eagle.
In addition, Borys Tarasyuk will return his Polish order due to Navrotsky’s policies.
