Popular TikTok blogger Mikey was found dead after going missing
In the United Kingdom, well-known TikTok blogger Michael Selwood, known to his followers as “Mikey,” died tragically. His body was found in Greater Manchester after the blogger had previously gone missing.
Police found Michael Selwood’s body on Sunday, July 19, around 5:00 p.m. News of his death spread instantly, although reports of the blogger’s disappearance had already surfaced over the weekend. Greater Manchester Police sounded the alarm and appealed to the public for help in locating the man.
Unfortunately, the search ended tragically. The deceased’s relatives have already been notified of the sad news—specially trained police officers are currently working with them to provide psychological support during this difficult time.
The police are keeping the circumstances of the man’s death confidential and have not yet disclosed any additional details.
Michael Selwood had gained fame on TikTok—one of his accounts had amassed over 22,500 followers. In his videos, he mainly talked about boxing and actively responded to the platform’s viral trends.
After news of the blogger’s death broke, his social media pages were literally flooded with heartfelt farewell messages.
