India's Prime Minister called on Putin to end the endless war in Ukraine
During a meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke of the need to end the war in Ukraine.
The Indian leader emphasized that every day of the war sets humanity back, so efforts must be made to halt the fighting. Narendra Modi stressed that his country will continue to support peace talks and advocates for an end to the conflict, rather than its endless continuation.

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Bishkek for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit marking the 25th anniversary of the organization’s founding. The meetings on Monday and Tuesday are being held under the slogan “25 Years of the SCO: Together for Lasting Peace, Development, and Prosperity.”
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, which begins Monday in Bishkek, will bring together the leaders of China, Russia—the aggressor state—Iran, India, Pakistan, Belarus, and the countries of Central Asia. Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will meet together for the first time since the start of the U.S. and Israeli war against the Islamic Republic.
