Polish President Nawrocki launches program for business participation in foreign visits
Polish President Karol Nawrocki has launched a program under which Polish companies seeking to expand in international markets will be able to apply to participate in his foreign visits. Selected business representatives will be able to travel on the presidential flight together with the delegation.
As Notes from Poland reports, the presidential chancellery is already accepting applications from companies wishing to join Nawrocki's trip to New York later in September. The president will attend the UN General Assembly.
Company selection criteria
The presidential chancellery said it will select established companies that have growth potential in the US market and are seeking new partners and opportunities for cooperation. During the visit, a one-day Polish-American Economic Summit is also planned, linked to Poland's participation in this year's G20 summit in the United States.
Nawrocki said that he wants to give Polish businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, an opportunity to establish new contacts, develop existing business ties and enter foreign markets together with the president.

Costs and future calls for applications
Selected participants will be invited to join the presidential flight from Warsaw to New York and back, and will also be provided with local transport. Companies will cover the costs of accommodation, meals and required visas themselves.
According to the presidential chancellery, the program was launched in response to longstanding calls from businesses to use the president's foreign visits to support the international expansion of Polish companies. Calls for participation in future presidential trips will be held regularly, with information published on the presidential chancellery's website.
In recent years, an increasing number of Polish companies have expanded their presence abroad. In particular, InPost has invested in the United Kingdom, France and Spain, the Żabka chain has opened more than 100 stores in Romania, and the BLIK mobile payment system has entered the Slovak market.
