Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has arrived in the US state of Utah on a working visit. His arrival was reported by the office of the Kyrgyz president, according to Anadolu Agency.

In Utah, Japarov will hold meetings with state officials. He will also study US experience in tourism development and the sustainable development of mountain areas.
The working visit of the Kyrgyz president to the United States began on Saturday, September 19.

UN General Assembly events
After the trip to Utah, Japarov will travel to New York. There, he will take part in the high-level debates of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly and hold bilateral meetings with heads of state and executives of major US companies.
The UN General Assembly high-level week will take place in New York from September 22 to 28. World leaders are expected to gather for the debates next week. UN Secretary-General António Guterres will open them for the last time before the end of his term.
