Putin dismisses Russia’s ambassador to the United Kingdom — Anadolu Agency

On September 25, 2026, President of the aggressor state Russia Vladimir Putin signed a decree dismissing Andrey Kelin from the post of Russia’s ambassador to the United Kingdom. This happened on Friday. The document confirming the dismissal was published on the government portal, Anadolu Agency reports.

End of term

Kelin had served as Russia’s ambassador in London since 2019. Earlier this month, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said that his term as Moscow’s ambassador in London would end as scheduled.

Ambassador to France
