Peace Board may unveil $2.45 billion Gaza reconstruction plan — Jerusalem Post
The Gaza Peace Board is expected to present a six-month recovery and reconstruction plan for the Gaza Strip with an estimated cost of $2.45 billion. According to Axios, it is planned to be unveiled during an upcoming meeting of the board's members.
66 projects for the first months
As the Jerusalem Post reports, citing Axios, the proposed plan includes 66 projects. It outlines what the first months of post-war governance and reconstruction of the Gaza Strip could look like.
The estimated budget includes spending on temporary housing, debris clearance, hospital repairs and the deployment of the International Stabilization Force (ISF).

Work on the document
According to Axios, the plan was developed over the course of a year by dozens of staff members from the Peace Board and the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG).
A Peace Board representative told Axios that the document is intended to show how to create a government from scratch, an economy from ruins, and restore the territory after a catastrophe.
