Xi Jinping may visit India for the first time in seven years
Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to attend the BRICS summit in New Delhi on September 12–13.
This could be his first visit to India in seven years.
According to Reuters sources, the Chinese leader may be accompanied by a delegation of about 400 officials. The visit is seen as a possible sign of a thaw in relations between Beijing and New Delhi.
