Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter on the occasion of the 48th WorldSkills Competition, which opened in Shanghai, China, on September 23. This was reported by ECNS.

Organization of the event

Xi Jinping said that China will use the hosting of this year’s competition to encourage and guide more workers, especially young people, to achieve success through professional skills. The competition is held under the motto “Master Skills, Change Your Future.” The event is organized by WorldSkills International, while the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China and the Shanghai People’s Government serve as co-organizers. The WorldSkills Conference and WorldSkills Expo will also be held as part of the competition.
