Scandal-hit George Santos released from prison following Trump’s intervention
Former congressman George Santos, notorious for fabricating his résumé and committing financial fraud, was released from a New Jersey federal prison after former President Donald Trump commuted his seven-year sentence. Santos served less than three months behind bars.
