The U.S. has deployed the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush to the Middle East
The United States continues to increase its military presence in the Middle East. The aircraft carrier USS George H. W. Bush, along with its escort ships, has set sail for the region, where it is expected to join other U.S. carrier strike groups.

It is noted that on March 31, the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier departed from the naval base in Norfolk. The voyage will take several weeks, after which the ship will join existing U.S. forces in the region.
Currently, the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln is on a mission in the Arabian Sea, while the USS Gerald R. Ford is undergoing repairs in a port in Croatia.
In addition, the United States is increasing its presence with other forces. In particular, amphibious ships carrying the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit have already entered waters near Iran.
President Donald Trump has ordered the deployment of units from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East. The possibility of deploying up to 10,000 troops to reinforce the force is also being considered.
The increased military presence is aimed at supporting allies and ensuring security amid growing tensions in the region.

As a reminder, an Iranian ballistic missile struck the town of Eshtol near Jerusalem, injuring at least 11 people and damaging buildings and a parking lot. Israeli air defenses attempted to intercept the missile but were unsuccessful.
