Karachi court extends police deadline in Ali case — Dawn
A judicial magistrate in Karachi, Pakistan, granted police additional time to submit the final police report in the murder case of Mir Raza Ali. As Dawn reports, the investigator, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sirajuddin Lashari, requested a 14-day extension.
Investigation's motion
Lashari told the court that the investigation is ongoing. According to him, police received information about Mir Raza's cryptocurrency account on the Binance platform. After that, the investigator applied to the relevant court for permission to obtain information about transactions conducted on the platform. The hearing on the application was scheduled for October 1.

Expected examination results
The results of forensic examinations of the mobile phones of Mir Raza's fiancée, his business partner and Dr. Osama have also not yet been received. According to Dawn, Dr. Osama conducted the first autopsy. After considering the motion, the magistrate extended the deadline for submitting the final police report in the case.
