On September 2, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that a renewed military campaign against Iran would not be prolonged. According to him, U.S. forces delivered a powerful strike against targets along the Strait of Hormuz, destroying new defensive and offensive equipment, including missile-building infrastructure under development for mining operations, as well as radar and missile systems that were being restored.
The American leader emphasized that U.S. forces had successfully neutralized key targets in the region and remain ready to launch a follow-up strike at any moment.
