Trump offered journalists a listen to his playlist on Air Force One
US President Donald Trump, during an Air Force One flight from Ireland to Washington, offered the journalists accompanying him a listen to his playlist. A large speaker was brought into the press cabin, and a selection titled “Approved Rally Playlist” was played, The Jerusalem Post reports.

The list of tracks included Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me,” Cat Stevens’ “Wild World,” R.E.M.’s “Losing My Religion,” and The Who’s “Baba O’Riley.” Journalists were also played wrestler The Undertaker’s entrance theme.
The playlist featured the opera aria “Nessun Dorma” performed by Luciano Pavarotti, ABBA’s “Fernando,” and Guns N’ Roses’ “November Rain.” About 43 minutes after the music began, Trump entered the part of the plane where the reporters were seated to ask whether everyone was satisfied with the selection.

President explained his choice of songs
Trump told journalists that he had chosen most of the tracks and wanted to please them. He also said that he loves good music and asked aides to write down the names of the songs playing during the conversation for members of the press.
Music has accompanied Trump’s public events before. In October 2024, during a campaign event in Pennsylvania interrupted by medical incidents among those present, he stopped the question-and-answer session and asked for songs he liked to be played. Trump then remained on stage for about 40 minutes to music, including Pavarotti’s rendition of “Ave Maria” and “November Rain.”
