Turkey lodged a complaint with the UN over Israel's strikes on Syria

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense called on the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) to fulfill its mandate and take the necessary measures in response to Israel’s strikes on Syrian territory.

The ministry emphasized that these attacks undermine Syria’s territorial integrity, stability, and security, and therefore Israel must immediately cease actions aimed at escalating tensions in the region

Ukrinform reported this, citing a press briefing by the Ministry of Defense, noting that the mandate of the aforementioned UN mission had been extended by six months—until December 31, 2026. The Turkish Ministry of Defense also emphasized that the Israeli attacks violate the rule of law.
