In the UK, resident doctors are planning a new strike
In April, medical residents in England plan to go on strike after the government rejected their proposal for a pay raise.
This was announced by the British Medical Association (BMA).
According to the BMA, the strike will last six days, from April 7 to 13.
It marks another escalation in the long-running conflict over pay and staffing issues in England’s National Health Service.
The BMA has repeatedly stated that real incomes in England’s National Health Service have plummeted over the past decade, while the number of vacancies has risen.
