Three more suspects have been arrested in Britain in connection with the arson attack on a car belonging to the Jewish community

British police have arrested three more men in connection with the arson attacks on ambulances belonging to the Jewish community in north London.

This was reported by Reuters.

The incident occurred near a synagogue in the Golders Green neighborhood. Prime Minister Keir Starmer previously called it a deeply shocking anti-Semitic arson attack.

The detainees are men aged 20, 19, and 17. Two of them are British citizens, while the third holds dual British-Pakistani citizenship. They are suspected of conspiracy to commit arson, which could have endangered people’s lives.

Earlier in this case, two men in their 40s were detained but released on bail.

The investigation is being conducted by the police’s counterterrorism unit, although the incident has not yet been officially classified as a terrorist attack.

According to SITE Intelligence, an Iran-linked group has claimed responsibility for the arson.

Police note that concern among the Jewish community remains high, but the new arrests indicate that law enforcement is actively working on the case.

Earlier in the UK, two people were charged after attempting to gain access to a naval base housing nuclear submarines. The individuals in question are citizens of Iran and Romania who were detained following an incident in Scotland.
