Two people killed in crash on Kpetoe–Sarakope road in Ghana — MyJoyOnline

Two people were killed in Ghana after a Hyundai H100 bus collided with a Ford tractor on the Kpetoe–Sarakope road section, which is part of the Accra–Aflao highway. The crash occurred on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Collision on the road to Aflao

Both vehicles were traveling from Kpetoe toward Aflao when they collided. There were 12 passengers in the Hyundai H100 bus and two people in the Ford tractor.

Firefighters from the Kpetoe station rescued all 14 people in the vehicles and handed them over to personnel from the National Ambulance Service and the Ghana Police Service, MyJoyOnline reports.

Deaths confirmed at hospital

All 14 people were taken to the Ho Teaching Hospital for medical treatment. The deaths of one man and one woman were later confirmed there.

The Ghana National Fire Service urged drivers to exercise caution on the roads, avoid improper overtaking and strictly comply with road safety rules to prevent accidents and fatalities.
