The Kremlin has indicated that a meeting between Putin, Trump, and Xi Jinping could take place at the APEC summit
The leaders of Russia, the United States, and China may hold a trilateral meeting at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which will take place on November 18–19, 2026, in Shenzhen, China. Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian president, announced this possibility.
According to him, this topic was raised during Putin’s talks with the Chinese leader. Xi Jinping, as the host of the event, noted that Donald Trump and Putin—who has been invited—are expected to attend the summit, which, under favorable conditions, would allow for trilateral talks or a series of bilateral meetings.
