Six women reported alleged rapes in Lahore over several days
In Lahore, Pakistan, six women reported alleged rapes and three underage girls reported sexual harassment over the past several days, including a 15-year-old girl with mental disabilities. This was reported by Dawn.
Statements by the victims
The highest number of reports of such crimes came from areas under the jurisdiction of the Kahna, Nishtar Colony, Kot Lakhpat, Nawab Town, Shahdara Town and Factory Area police stations.
In the Bagbanpura area, according to the outlet, a man lured an underage girl with mental disabilities to a deserted place, where he allegedly attempted to rape her. In Hanjarwal, a woman stated that her former husband entered the home she rented, allegedly raped her, beat her when she tried to resist and threatened her if she went to the police.

Cases in different areas of the city
Another woman said that a taxi driver offered her a job at a local factory and later invited her to discuss the vacancy in Kahna. According to her, the driver and a friend allegedly gang-raped her there, recorded it on video and subsequently blackmailed her while repeating the crime.
A resident of Johar Town filed a complaint with Nawab Town police against a man who, she claimed, entered into a sexual relationship with her while promising marriage but refused to marry her after she became pregnant. In Kot Lakhpat, a woman stated that her former husband entered her home, allegedly raped her and threatened to kill her children.
Nishtar Colony police registered a case against a suspect accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a woman. Shahdara Town police also registered a case following a complaint by a woman who reported repeated rape.
