Two fires occurred in Limassol and Nicosia district
Cyprus Fire Service responded to two fires: in a car park near a shop in Episkopi, Limassol, and in an electrical panel at a facility in Kampos, Nicosia district. This was reported by Cyprus Mail.
Fire in Episkopi
The fire in the car park in Episkopi began at around 02:06 on Friday. Three fire engines from Monovoliko and Agios Ioannis arrived at the scene. The blaze was brought under control at 02:26.
Before firefighters arrived, neighbours had extinguished the flames. A container located on the premises was damaged in the fire. The cause of the fire is being determined.

Fire in Kampos
A separate fire occurred on Thursday in an electrical panel at a facility in Kampos. Two vehicles from the Evrychou fire station, a fire engine from Kykkos Monastery and two vehicles from the forestry department arrived at the scene.
The fire damaged the electrical panel, part of the building’s interior finish and the external masonry. The investigation established that the fire was caused by an electrical equipment malfunction.
From 06:00 on Thursday to 06:00 on Friday, the fire service responded to a total of 35 calls. They included 10 fires, 21 calls for special services and four false alarms.
