RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire is an airbase that the United States used for strikes on Iran. The investigation attracted international attention after U.S. President Donald Trump said that an Iran-related threat was the reason for the withdrawal of U.S. B-1 bombers from the base. Iran denied any involvement in the alleged plot.
