Massachusetts woman charged with intimidating juror in Clancy case
In Massachusetts, 56-year-old Dawn Light has been charged with aggravated intimidation of a juror after she was detained near the courthouse in Plymouth. According to BBC News, the woman is suspected of photographing jurors on Tuesday as they left the courthouse building.
Circumstances of the detention
According to the prosecution, Light was in a parked car in a restricted-access area near the courthouse. She told law enforcement officers that she was waiting for Lindsay Clancy and denied recording video.
Prosecutors said that when they checked the deleted files folder on Light's phone, they found photographs of jurors leaving the courthouse. She was then taken into custody. Judge William Sullivan, who is presiding over the Clancy case, separately prohibited photographing or filming jurors.

Court decision
At a hearing on Wednesday, Light pleaded not guilty. Her attorney, Jennifer White, called the incident a misunderstanding and said her client had been trying to photograph Clancy.
The court prohibited Light from being on courthouse grounds and from approaching people connected with the Clancy case proceedings. She was also prohibited from creating or distributing photographs that may have been stored in iCloud. The judge denied prosecutors' request for $50,000 bail.
Lindsay Clancy, 36, is accused of killing her three children on three counts of first-degree murder. She has pleaded not guilty. According to the BBC, jurors have been deliberating in the case since Thursday.
