The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the U.S. is ignoring demands to halt arms supplies to Ukraine
The Russian Foreign Ministry complained that the U.S. is not responding to Moscow’s demands to halt military aid to Ukraine.
This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.
According to him, halting arms supplies from the US and NATO countries could, in Russia’s view, hasten the end of the war.
Ryabkov claims that Moscow has repeatedly sent relevant signals to Washington, but they “are not having the desired effect.”
Russia also insists once again that the West must withdraw its military and technical support for Ukraine as a condition for ending the war.
As a reminder, the Kremlin has already rejected the idea of an Easter truce.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that some of Ukraine’s partners have asked to reduce strikes on Russia’s oil sector following the global energy crisis. He emphasized that Ukraine is not acting merely to strike, but in response to attacks.
