The 23rd China-ASEAN Expo opens in Nanning — ECNS
The 23rd China-ASEAN Expo opened in Nanning, southern China, on September 17. The event is being held in the capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and has brought together more than 3,400 companies from over 70 countries and regions.
Timor-Leste’s participation
Timor-Leste is participating in the expo for the first time as a co-organizer. According to ECNS, this has brought together representatives of all 11 member states of the association in Nanning for the first time since ASEAN’s expansion.

A new business zone
For the first time, the expo has created a separate zone dedicated to the needs of ASEAN countries. It uses intelligent partner-matching technologies to help companies more effectively find potential partners and opportunities for cooperation.
The 23rd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit also opened in Nanning on the same day. Both events began on Thursday.
