At least 1,924 people are considered missing after floods in Nepal. Search and rescue operations are continuing in Nepal and Tibet. Rescuers in Nepal are hindered by difficult Himalayan terrain, mud and the risk of further flooding.

According to ABC News Australia, Nepal's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority reported that 517 foreign tourists are among those missing. Another 933 missing people were workers on hydropower projects on rivers.
