Pakistan announces top performers in annual exams in Rawalpindi — Dawn
In Rawalpindi, Pakistan, female students took the top two positions in the 2026 annual examinations conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi (BISE). A female student and a male student shared third place with the same score.
BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Professor Dr Iqbal Mahmood announced the top positions in the examinations on Tuesday. The full results, according to the board, were due to be released on Wednesday.
As Dawn reports, Atfa Javed of Punjab College for Women in Satellite Town took first place in the overall ranking with 1,156 marks. Noor Fatima Sajid from the same college came second with 1,151 marks. Third place, with 1,142 marks, was shared by Nabiha Iman of Punjab College for Women in Talagang and Muneeb Shah of Punjab College in Satellite Town.
Humanities and pre-medical streams
In the humanities group for boys, the top three positions were taken by Zohaib Imran of Dar-ul-Uloom Muhammadiyya Razviyya in Pind Dadan Khan with 1,013 marks, Jawad Mahmood Malik of the same institution with 996 marks, and private candidate Abdul Qadir of Rawalpindi with 994 marks. In the girls’ group, the best results were achieved by Asma Aamir with 1,074 marks, Sumaiya Asma with 1,065 marks, and Alishba Farooq with 1,064 marks.

In the pre-medical group for boys, Mohammad bin Jalil won with 1,130 marks. Among girls, Atfa Javed and Noor Fatima Sajid took first and second places respectively, while Kursama Tanzeel came third with 1,135 marks.
Other study streams
In the pre-engineering group for boys, Mohammad Ibrahim Ali took first place with 1,120 marks. In the girls’ group, Nabiha Iman won with 1,142 marks; Kanza Babar came second and Asifa Arshad Abbasi third.
In the general science group for boys, Muneeb Shah achieved the best result with 1,142 marks. Among girls, Sana Maryam took first place with 1,140 marks. In the commerce group, Balaj Javed won among boys with 1,099 marks, while Anika Yasmeen and Sara Khan jointly took first place among girls with 1,086 marks each.
