In Poland, a teacher called Ukrainian students ‘scum,’ and Poles beat them up

A scandalous situation occurred in Słupsk, Poland: a construction teacher systematically insulted students from Ukraine, and during one incident, Ukrainian students were beaten up by their Polish classmates.

This was reported by Onet.

According to the publication, the teacher was an elderly man who repeatedly humiliated Ukrainian students.

‘He called us “scum” and threatened that we would fail our exams. He said, “I'll show you who Poles are,”’ the students said.

The teacher also expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that Ukrainians in Poland enjoy privileges.

In addition to humiliation from the teacher, Ukrainian students were bullied by their Polish classmates. According to the father of one of the children, during breaks, the Poles turned on the sound of bombing, commenting, ‘It's time to hide.’

During one incident, when the boys were walking to the bus stop, they were beaten up by their Polish classmates, who insulted the Ukrainians.

‘Ukrainian b*tches,’ ‘To hell with Ukraine,’ ‘Go to the front,’ they shouted.

As a result of the fight, a 16-year-old teenager had his nose broken, and another boy had his collarbone broken.

After the incident, one of the victims' mothers contacted the police, but at first, the report was not accepted due to the absence of the district police officer. The next day, the report was finally accepted.

Polish lawyer David Dehnert commented on the situation.

He emphasised that although he does not represent the victims, disciplinary measures must be taken against the teacher who was hostile towards the Ukrainian students.

‘Such cases are unacceptable, and appropriate measures must be taken against the teacher,’ the lawyer stressed.

They also shouted at them to ‘go to the front’.

As a result of the fight, one of the Ukrainian students, a 16-year-old teenager, had his nose broken, and another boy had his collarbone broken.

After the fight, one of the mothers of the injured teenager went to the police to report the beating, but she was told that there was no district police officer on duty, so the statement would not be accepted. However, the next day, the report was accepted.

Polish lawyer David Dehnert publicised the situation. He stated that although he did not represent the victims, he emphasised that ‘disciplinary measures’ should be taken against the teacher who was hostile towards students from Ukraine.
