In Poznań, Polish law enforcement officers detained two men suspected of brutally beating a man. The victim had come to the defense of a Ukrainian citizen. The Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration reported the detention.

Galecka stated on Tuesday, July 21, that police had detained two men suspected of brutally beating a 60-year-old man from Poznań who had stood up for a Ukrainian man.

According to her, the suspects are 38 and 41 years old and have numerous prior convictions.

“One of them also has a criminal record for drug-related offenses. Tomorrow they will be brought before the prosecutor’s office, where charges will be filed against them,” Halecka added.
