The Mesa and Gacho concert in Riga was postponed due to a storm warning
The Mesa and Gacho concert, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 22, at the Mežaparks Grand Stage in Riga, has been postponed by 24 hours to Sunday, August 23. The reason was an orange warning issued for expected strong winds and heavy rainfall, according to LSM English.
Kaspar Jansons, a representative of the organizers, explained that the forecasted weather conditions could pose a safety risk to the audience, performers, and event staff.

All previously purchased tickets will be valid for the concert on August 23; there is no need to exchange them. The concert venue and program remain unchanged. The organizers will also personally notify ticket holders of the rescheduling via email.
Attendees who are unable to attend the concert on the new date may request a refund for their tickets. According to weather forecasts, a powerful atmospheric front will cross Latvia from the south on Saturday, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. The rain is expected to begin in the morning and will be prolonged and heavy.
