Video: A car exploded in St. Petersburg, killing a lieutenant colonel
On August 27, a car exploded in the Slavyanka neighborhood of Shushary, St. Petersburg, killing a Russian lieutenant colonel. According to preliminary reports, his wife was also in the car.
The explosion occurred around 10:00 a.m. on Kolpinskoye Highway near building No. 24, block 4. Local residents reported the car explosion and serious injuries to the people inside.
According to Russian media reports, a homemade explosive device may have detonated inside the car. The circumstances of the explosion and the identity of the deceased servicemember are currently being determined.
Prior to this, explosions were heard in occupied Luhansk, followed by a detonation.
