$6 million lawsuit filed against Epstein estate in US — Jerusalem Post
In the United States, two women whose childhood images were found among materials seized from Jeffrey Epstein have filed a class-action lawsuit against the estate of the deceased financier. The lawsuit filed in a federal district court in Manhattan seeks at least $6 million on behalf of more than 40 people, The Jerusalem Post reports.
Plaintiffs’ demands
The lawsuit concerns people whose images appeared in thousands of photographs and videos containing child sexual abuse material and other pornographic content seized from Epstein’s properties. Some plaintiffs, according to the court filing, appeared in the so-called model book — a collection of sexualized images of children that federal investigators seized in 2019 from Epstein’s New York home.
One plaintiff, identified in the documents as Jane Doe, alleges that Epstein stole partially nude photographs taken when she was 12 years old. Another plaintiff, who uses the pseudonym Amy, says her image is among child sexual abuse materials seized in 2019 that, according to her, are still being shared.

Defendants and potential participants in the lawsuit
The defendants are listed as Epstein’s former lawyer Darren Indyke and his former accountant Richard Kahn, co-executors who manage his estate. Indyke’s lawyer Daniel Weiner declined to comment. A representative for Kahn did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The plaintiffs’ lawyer, Hillary Nappi, said that thousands of people could potentially join the class action because most of the individuals depicted in Epstein’s collection have not yet been identified. The plaintiffs are asking Epstein’s estate and federal authorities to cooperate with the U.S. National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to identify and notify these people. They also demand that each participant in the lawsuit be paid $150,000 and that other sanctions be imposed.
Epstein was convicted in 2008 of soliciting a minor for sex, and in 2019 he was charged with sex trafficking of minors. Several months later, he was found dead in a New York jail; his death was ruled a suicide. He was not criminally prosecuted for creating, obtaining, or distributing child sexual abuse materials.
