Temporary "BTS Boulevard" signs are being installed in Toronto
In Toronto, temporary “BTS Boulevard” signs have begun to be installed along Young Street in the North York neighborhood ahead of concerts by the South Korean band BTS. The group’s sold-out shows in the city are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Rogers Stadium as part of their “Arirang” tour.
The city plans to install 20 black-and-red signs designed in the style of BTS’s “Arirang” tour. They are set to remain in place until September 23.

The initiative came about after City Councilor Lily Cheng introduced a motion in July. It was subsequently approved by the Toronto City Council.
The BTS concerts coincide with the Korean Harvest Festival at Mel Lastman Square in North York. Organizers are promoting the event as the largest Korean cultural festival in Canada, according to The Korea Herald.
