Back-to-school fair with discounts of up to 40% to be held in Accra
A two-day Joy FM Back-to-School Discount Fair will be held in Accra on September 4–5, 2026. Vendors will offer discounts of up to 40% on selected school items. The event will take place in the Joy FM parking lot in Kokomlemle and will run from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on both days.
Products for the school year
The fair will feature laptops, tablets, smartphones, school bags, shoes, clothing, textbooks, stationery and other educational supplies. According to MyJoyOnline, participants will include CompuGhana, which will offer discounts of up to 40% on selected laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers, routers, headphones and power banks.
Flo Ghana, Kingdom Books, Habs Logistics, Prestige Children's Palace, Paddington Publications, Universal Knowledge Kingdom Limited, Beckett's Daily Clothes, ZoomZoom Limited, Media Brain, Kivo Products, Salje Bookshops, Unilever, SHS Online, Chalene Bookshop and Afran Publications will also take part in the event.

Purpose and school enrollment
Maxwell Fugar, general manager for sales and marketing at Multimedia Group Limited, said the fair was organized to make it easier for parents and guardians to prepare children for the new school year. According to him, the initiative is intended to make it possible to buy necessary items in one place and reduce families' expenses.
Sunrise Christian High School, located in Takla in the Volta Region, will also be at the fair. School representatives will offer prospective students the opportunity for instant enrollment during the two days of the event. Compu Ghana is listed as the fair's sponsor.
