Prison break amid unrest in Jalisco, Mexico
In the Mexican state of Jalisco, 23 prisoners escaped during a riot. According to the state’s Secretary of Public Security, accomplices of the inmates fired at the prison and then used a vehicle to break down the gates. During the ensuing shootout, one prison guard was killed.
