Vucic announced a visit to China following trips by Trump and Putin
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has stated that he plans to visit China immediately following visits by U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This was reported by Serbian media.
According to Vučić, his upcoming trip to Beijing will be “the crowning achievement of his political career” and his most important visit to a foreign country.
“We are waiting for confirmation. I see that President Putin is going to China on May 19 and 20, and we are going to China in a few days,” he said.
Vucic also highlighted the rapid growth of economic ties with Beijing.
“We have increased our exports to China 330-fold. We had zero Chinese factories in the country; today we have 37,” the Serbian president stated.
He added that he expects the visit to significantly deepen cooperation between the countries.
The Kremlin has officially confirmed Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s visit to China, which will take place on May 19–20. The trip will come just a few days after the summit between Chinese leader Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump in Beijing.
