WAMY Commends Saudi Arabia’s Peace Efforts — Asharq Al-Awsat
The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has commended Saudi Arabia’s efforts to support peace initiatives and strengthen security and stability. The organization also positively assessed support for de-escalation and conflict resolution through dialogue and peaceful means.
Statement for International Day of Peace
The statement was made on the occasion of the International Day of Peace, observed annually on September 21. As Asharq Al-Awsat reports, WAMY emphasized that its work for young people and communities in various countries is based on the values of coexistence, cooperation, dialogue, and human solidarity.

Programs for Youth and Communities
The assembly stated that it implements educational, medical, development, aid, and youth programs and projects. They are intended to promote people’s development and strengthen their capacity to make a positive contribution to their own communities.
WAMY also reaffirmed its intention to continue spreading a culture of peace among young people and to establish communication and cooperation between communities and international institutions. The organization stressed the importance of dialogue, moderation, and joint action, viewing young people as a key partner in shaping a safer, more stable, and more prosperous future.
