Celebrities put on a parade of daring looks at Paris Fashion Week

During the second Paris Fashion Week, celebrities gathered at the Yves Saint Laurent show, choosing rather revealing outfits for the event. Famous models, actors, and designers appeared at the brand’s “golden” show in sheer black dresses that caught the public’s attention.

Before the Yves Saint Laurent show, led by the brand’s creative director, Belgian designer Anthony Vaccarello, actresses Zoe Saldana and Catherine Deneuve, models Amber Valletta and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, designer Donatella Versace, and others.

Photographers captured the show’s guests in unusual looks featuring sheer lace dresses, tops, and more. Most of the show’s guests, particularly the women, opted for black outfits, as the majority of the Yves Saint Laurent collection was presented in gold, as were the entire runway and its set design. Therefore, the black dress code was necessary to ensure that the focus remained squarely on the models. However, the sheer lace outfits chosen by many celebrities turned out to be a coincidence rather than adherence to the dress code.

Zoe Saldana

American actress Zoe Saldana, known for her roles in the films *Avatar*, *Guardians of the Galaxy*, and *The Avengers*, attended the Saint Laurent show in a black sheer lace dress. Her look was complemented by a black jacket, which she didn’t wear fully buttoned but draped over her shoulders.

Amber Valletta

52-year-old American supermodel Amber Valletta appeared at the show in a black ensemble featuring a sheer lace top and skirt. Valletta is one of the most famous models of the 1990s, having collaborated with leading fashion houses.

Donatella Versace

Italian designer Donatella Versace also attended the Saint Laurent show. She chose a black dress with sheer sleeves and lace detailing for the event.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

British model and former Victoria’s Secret Angel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended the show in a long, black, sheer lace dress without a bra. The paparazzi photographed the model as she was leaving her hotel before the show.

Catherine Deneuve, François-Henri Pinault, and Isabelle Adjani

French actress and model Catherine Deneuve was also a guest at the Saint Laurent show. She has a long history with the brand—the fashion house has designed clothes for her, and she has been a well-known client of the brand. Deneuve arrived at the show wearing a black patent leather trench coat, accessorizing her look with a clutch.

French businessman François-Henri Pinault appeared alongside Catherine Deneuve. He heads the French Kering Group, which owns Saint Laurent. The entrepreneur deviated from the dress code and wore a classic blue business suit.  Sitting next to Pinault and Deneuve was the popular French actress Isabelle. The star attended the show in a black patent leather jacket with a thick fur collar. She accessorized her look with black sunglasses.
