KitKat has announced that a truck carrying 12 tons of chocolate bars, which was hijacked while being transported from Italy to Poland, has been found.

This was reported by Rai News.

The company confirmed that the entire shipment has been recovered, but did not disclose any details of the incident.

It is noted that the products were stolen while being transported from a factory in central Italy to their destination in Poland. An investigation involving local law enforcement is currently underway.

KitKat emphasized that the incident poses no threat to consumers and will not affect product supply.

At the same time, the company joked that it “appreciates the criminals’ exceptional taste,” but stressed that product theft is becoming an increasingly serious problem for the business.

The Swiss company Nestlé reported the disappearance of a truck carrying about 12 tons of KitKat chocolate bars.
