Russia is preparing to deploy sabotage groups to Orikhiv, taking advantage of the worsening weather – Voloshin
Russian troops have stepped up their activities in the Orikhiv sector of Zaporizhzhia Oblast and may take advantage of deteriorating weather conditions to deploy sabotage and reconnaissance groups closer to Orikhiv.
According to Vladislav Voloshin, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, the Russian army has resumed activity near Orikhiv in recent days. According to Ukrainian intelligence, the occupiers have been tasked with exploiting the unfavorable weather conditions to infiltrate sabotage groups into the area around the city.
“According to our intelligence, the enemy has been tasked with taking advantage of the deteriorating weather conditions to attempt to infiltrate sabotage groups toward Orikhiv itself, closer to the city,” Voloshin noted.
At the same time, according to the spokesperson, Russian troops continue to carry out intense airstrikes on Orikhiv and other settlements in southern Ukraine.
In the past 24 hours alone, nearly ten strikes with guided aerial bombs were recorded in Orikhiv. Overall, in the southern sector, the Russian army carries out up to 25 airstrikes with guided aerial bombs daily, using about a hundred such munitions.

As a reminder, in the Dnipro region, Russian occupation forces are facing a critical shortage of fuel and lubricants.
Russian troops are rotating their offensive forces in southern Ukraine, which may indicate an intention to intensify combat operations during the summer.
Amid the deepening fuel crisis in Russia, Russian drivers have begun reporting a sharp decline in gasoline quality. A video is circulating on social media in which a car owner claims that he was sold diluted fuel at a gas station.
