BTS member V has been dealing with hearing problems for over two years
V, a member of the South Korean band BTS, revealed that he has been undergoing treatment for hearing problems for over two years. The artist shared this during a live broadcast on the Weverse platform following the band’s performance in Baltimore, according to the Korea Herald.
According to V, he had not previously told fans about his condition. The artist noted that his hearing problems have persisted for about two and a half years. He explained that if his hearing in his left ear is rated at 100, his hearing in his right ear is approximately 30. V also said that he takes medication regularly and sees doctors for treatment.

During the same broadcast, another BTS member, Jungkook, announced that he had suffered a shin injury that is limiting his movements on stage during the North American leg of the tour. According to him, he does not have a stress fracture, but his shin is severely inflamed, and the bone may have sustained minor damage.
Jungkook noted that the pain prevented him from performing at full intensity in Baltimore. He said he would try to manage the injury carefully so he could continue performing during the tour. BTS is currently on the North American leg of their “ARIRANG” world tour: upcoming concerts are scheduled for Arlington, Texas, on August 15 and 16, as well as in Toronto on August 22 and 23.
