Land prices in Ukraine have risen: how much does a hectare cost now?
In May 2026, the average price of one hectare of agricultural land in Ukraine rose to 74,528 hryvnias. Compared to April, the price increased by 7.1%.
The most expensive land remains in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. There, the price per hectare rose to 283,885 hryvnias, which is more than 15% higher than a month earlier.
The top five regions with the highest prices also included:
• Kyiv Oblast — 173,276 UAH/ha;
• Lviv Oblast — 139,525 UAH/ha;
• Ternopil Oblast — 112,219 UAH/ha;
• Poltava Oblast — 94,568 UAH/ha.

The lowest prices were recorded in the frontline and southern regions:
• Donetsk Oblast — 32,364 UAH/ha;
• Mykolaiv Oblast — 42,383 UAH/ha;
• Kherson Oblast — 42,894 UAH/ha.
At the same time, the amount of land sold continues to decline. In May, nearly 19,800 hectares were sold, while in April this figure exceeded 22,000 hectares.
