The government is launching a new support program for farmers: up to 1,000 UAH per hectare
Ukrainian farmers will be able to receive government assistance for the purchase of domestically produced mineral fertilizers. The maximum amount of support will be up to 1,000 UAH per hectare.
According to Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, applications will be accepted through the State Agricultural Register. The program provides non-repayable compensation for the purchase of compound fertilizers at a rate of up to 7 metric tons per 100 hectares of farmland.
In addition, the government is expanding support for land reclamation. The maximum compensation for farmers and water user organizations will increase to over 30,000 UAH per hectare nationwide and to over 48,000 UAH per hectare in frontline regions.
The modernization of irrigation systems in the Odesa region is also underway, and farms in frontline regions are already eligible for increased compensation amounting to 40% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural equipment.
