A lawyer alleged that pressure was being exerted on the judges in the case against the "Our Money Lviv" project
On August 12, attorney Oleksiy Shevchuk stated that the “Our Money. Lviv” project is attempting to pressure judges of the Frankivsk District Court of Lviv and intimidate them and their family members in order to obstruct the proceedings of court cases.
According to the lawyer, representatives of “Our Money. Lviv” are trying at all costs to avoid losing in court and have reached an agreement with one of the Lviv judges to bar lawyers from participating in the videoconference and to deny them access to the case files.
Shevchuk also claims that the judge may be concerned about publications regarding him and his family. In the lawyer’s opinion, this is being used as a means of pressuring the court and an attempt to influence the course of the proceedings.
“He is trying to have our complaint against ‘Nashi Hroshi’ dismissed without a hearing,” Shevchuk stated.
Separately, the attorney alleged that “Our Money. Lviv” is funded by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
Shevchuk emphasized that he intends to ensure the court hears the complaint and rules in his favor. He also stated that attempts to pressure judges and fears regarding possible publications about their families will not go unpunished.
Shevchuk cites relevant documents as evidence for his claims.

On Monday, October 28 of last year, Adnan Kivan, owner of the Kadorr Group and publisher of the English-language newspaper Kyiv Post, died at the age of 62.
