Businessman Viacheslav Lysenko attempts to “whitewash” his reputation after losing a court case against UA.NEWS
Kyiv businessman Viacheslav Lysenko, co-owner of Meest China and head of CEO Club Ukraine, who lost a court case against UA.NEWS, has launched a campaign to “clean up” his reputation, allegedly damaged by possible connections to organizers of underground casinos.
In the information space, his interviews have begun to appear, presenting him as a mentor and expert in various fields — from personal development to geopolitics. According to one such publication, Lysenko has been doing business in China for over 20 years and specializes there in a wide range of issues: from launching companies and conducting negotiations to handling court cases and crises.

Interestingly, Lysenko has appeared in the role of a “China expert” on such diverse issues as:
How the judicial system in China works and why no Ukrainian company has ever won a lawsuit there?
Taxes in China — why employees working in China often do not want to return to Ukraine?
Does China support Russia and what is really happening regarding the weapons issue?
It is worth noting that until now the businessman had allegedly attempted to remove from the information space all negative content related to his activities. In December 2025, Viacheslav Lysenko lost a lawsuit against UA.NEWS — the appellate court did not satisfy his demands to remove a news article about the exposure of an underground casino and a fraudulent call center that were allegedly organized by him.
Earlier, we wrote that behind the image of an effective and principled mentor-entrepreneur there may be a background suggesting compromises when it comes to profit and enormous earnings, which during wartime and increased tax pressure are unlikely to be ensured by transparent and honest business practices. Such compromises are usually kept silent so as not to damage a personal brand. This is relatively easy to do within an information space modeled on social media.

As a reminder, at the end of April 2024, law enforcement officers uncovered an underground casino and a fraudulent call center in Kyiv. According to insider information, the organizer of the illegal activity may have been the well-known Ukrainian businessman Viacheslav Lysenko, co-owner of Meest China and CEO Club Ukraine.
Investigators from the Economic Security Bureau monitored Lysenko for eight months. It is reported that Lysenko allegedly organized the casino under the cover of the CEO Club. On April 30, law enforcement officers conducted searches at the businessman’s business center in Kyiv at 33V Dehtiarivska Street, as well as at the CEO Club office. At the scene, they discovered a casino where members of parliament and members of Kyiv’s elite were allegedly gambling illegally. In the same business center, a call center was uncovered that had been defrauding citizens of the Czech Republic, Germany, and Ukraine.
